And one of its most promising eco-tourism parks is South Flora or formerly known as Mariano's Blooming Petals. This park became incredibly popular among tourists locally and internationally who are a nature enthusiast or those who prefer a peaceful outdoor trip.
South Flora is known for its sea of Sunflowers, with more than 15,000 of it standing beautifully in perfect rows at any given time.
It is undoubtedly beautiful at sunrise. But it becomes more spectacular at sunset.
It is the ideal time to walk around and take some pictures because the scorching summer sun has finally set, and the place is now perfect for an aesthetic or silhouette photo shoots. When walking on its narrow road, the sunshine-yellow blooms that surround you give a feeling of being in a magical garden with bees and butterflies flying all over you.
Instagramable, as they said. So, it became a place for people to do their birthday or pre-nuptial photo-shoot and other shoots as well.
What's more interesting about this eco-park is that it also grows other flowering plants such as Marigolds. It surrounded the sunflowers and was creatively formed into rows of a giant mandala. And it is said that they change the patterns of the flowers from time to time.
But it doesn't end there because South Flora also has a vegetation garden. It is just a few steps away from the sunflower area. And other animals like birds and peacocks are caged and are free for people to watch.
