If never-ending adventures and breath-taking sceneries are your vacation bucket list with your family or friends, the Philippines is a jewel of a destination!

Experience unique attractions, welcoming individuals, stunning sights, and amazing moments whether you're visiting Luzon tourist locations, Visayas tourist spots, or Mindanao tourist places.

With so many attractions and activities to choose from in the Philippines, we've compiled a list of the top 5 spots to visit with your family or friends.

Tubbataha Reef

Tubbataha Reef is considered as one of the top diving places in the Philippines as well as a marine biodiversity sanctuary. It is located in the middle of the Sulu Sea between the Visayan area and the island of Palawan. It's preferable to take diving tours during the dry months of March to mid-June, wherein the waters are calm.

If you want to see the pristine beauty of this underwater environment with your family or friends, you may take buses, ferries, or flights from Manila to Puerto Princesa, Palawan.

Tubbataha Reef is located about 50 kilometers southeast of Puerto Princesa City in Palawan, and most liveaboard scuba diving vessels use Puerto Princesa as a launch site to Tubbataha. The scuba diving liveaboard boats depart Puerto Princesa’s port around sunset for the 10 to 12 hours trip to Tubbataha reef, arriving at sunrise. It is possible to connect with your diving boat the same afternoon if you catch an early afternoon flight to Puerto. These liveaboards accept reservations and sail on a weekly basis.

Calle Crisologo, Vigan

Calle Crisologo is a street lined with old Spanish buildings, most of which are homes for wealthy families and Filipino-Chinese traders. The famous cobblestone streets that represent Vigan's image can be found here. If your family or group of friends are into vintage or art, this destination is for you!

It is around 400 kilometers from Manila, there are so many shops lining the street offering souvenirs, antiques, and trinkets that you'll be able to get your fill of “pasalubong” at a reasonable price. Your group can explore the various little eateries in Vigan that provide delicious Vigan cuisine. The historic area where calesas can still be found has been effectively preserved by the town. The greatest time to go on a Calle Crisologo tour is during the first week of May, the celebration of Vigan Festival of the Arts.

White Beach Boracay

White Beach is one of the most popular beaches in the Visayas and one of the most popular in Boracay. White Beach is known for its beauty, but it also has everything you need; restaurants, water activities, hotels, and nightlife are all located directly in front of the beach. It extends for 4 kilometers and is known by fine white sand and crystal clear seas.

White Beach is also known for having some of the best sunset views on the island. Boracay Island is located in the province of Aklan. Caticlan and Kalibo are the closest ports to the island. From these locations, a short boat journey will take you to Boracay Island and White Beach

Your family or group will be captivated to its beauty and charm by the picturesque outlook. Other attractions in Lake Sebu include The Seven Falls, which has a total of seven waterfalls, and the Punta Isla Lake Resort, which offers a panoramic view of the lake. The attraction is located in the T'boli and Ubo tribes' ancestral land. The lake has been promoted by the Department of Tourism (DOT) as one of Mindanao's top eco-tourism sites. You can take your group to the T'boli Museum and School of Living Traditions (SLT) to discover more about the T'boli culture. Then visit the Grand Dulay T'nalak Weaving Center to witness their unique woven fabrics.

Samal Island

The Island Garden City of Samal in Davao del Norte, often known as Samal Island, is the Philippines' largest resort city, with over 30 resorts totaling over 1,000 accommodations.

Samal Island is a must destination for your family or group of friends looking for a brief getaway from the city's hustle and bustle. Samal Island is home to white-sand beaches such as Vanishing Island, Talikud Island, and Kaputian Beach which are surrounded by beautiful coral reefs and crystal clear blue waters. A ferry ride from Davao City to Samal Island is only 2 kilometers. The dry season which runs from January to May is the perfect time to visit. The rain has subsided and the waves have calmed down. Because it is the fruit season in August, it is also one of the greatest months to visit. Marang, rambutan, mangosteen, and durian are all available at a very low price.

In the Philippines, there will never be a shortage of things to do and you will never tire of trying anything new. With your family or group of friends, you will surely enjoy, have memorable experience and be satisfied of what Philippines can offer.
